On July 17, 2021, at approximately 3:30 p.m., officers from the Valley Police Department responded to a reported shooting at 228 Huguley Road in Valley, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 23-year-old Antavious Lawenton Sharpe lying face down on the porch. Emergency medical personnel were called to the scene and determined that Sharpe had succumbed to a gunshot wound.
