In a quiet neighborhood in Birmingham, Alabama, the community was shaken by the discovery of two lives cut tragically short. On Wednesday, July 1, 2015, 21-year-old Alexandria Mecole Dowe, an African-American female, was found deceased alongside 41-year-old Christopher Charles Cooley. The two were discovered inside a home located in the 1200 block of Fifth Avenue West in the College Hills area. A relative of one of the victims made the grim discovery.
