On May 10, 2024, the body of 38-year-old Christopher Lee Henry was discovered along the bank of a canal in the Carol City neighborhood of Miami Gardens, Florida. The body was found by residents of the neighborhood near the 3900 block of Northwest 207th Drive just after 8 a.m. Henry's body was in a state of severe trauma; his hands were bound behind his back, a plastic bag was placed over his face, and he had been shot multiple times.
He was also found dressed in black underwear and a pink T-shirt, with his arms restrained and his mouth sealed with tape.
The discovery of Henry's body was made by a local woman who was going about her morning routine. Neighbors, including Angie Ardavin and Margarita, expressed their shock and disbelief at the sight, with one initially mistaking the body for a mannequin left abandoned on the canal bank. Margarita immediately called 911 upon realizing it was a human body.
