On a warm summer evening in late July of 2023, the quiet neighborhood of Palmer Park in Landover, Maryland, was shattered by the sound of gunfire. When Prince George's County police officers arrived at the 7700 block of Penbrook Place shortly before 11 p.m. on Monday, July 31st, they discovered two men suffering from gunshot wounds.
