In the Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood of St. Louis, a 44-year-old woman named Tyra Pace was found shot in the head on the evening of Friday, February 2, 2024. The incident occurred shortly before 5 p.m. in the 1700 block of North Vandeventer Avenue, near Cote Brilliante Avenue. When police and emergency responders arrived at the scene, they discovered Ms. Pace was unconscious and not breathing. She was pronounced dead at the location of the shooting.
