On December 31, 2023, at approximately 4:31 a.m., deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station responded to a report of shots fired in the 25700 block of Vista Fairways Drive, near the Vista Valencia Golf Course in Valencia, California. Upon arrival, they discovered 37-year-old Devin Marshall in his vehicle, which was parked in the middle of the roadway.
