On June 9, 2024, 27-year-old Jonathon Michael Berto was found deceased in a parking lot near the northbound service road of I-35E in Lewisville, Texas. Responding to reports of a body, police arrived shortly after 5 p.m. to discover Berto, a resident of Denton, lying next to his silver truck. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner later confirmed that Berto had suffered multiple gunshot wounds, leading to his death.
