On the evening of April 11, 2023, in Copperas Cove, Texas, 27-year-old resident Keelan River Harrelson was involved in a fatal incident following a police pursuit. The sequence of events began around 9:47 p.m. when local police received reports of a reckless driver swerving across East Business Highway 190. Officers located Harrelson's vehicle in the 800 block of the highway and conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, Harrelson exhibited signs of intoxication and emotional distress.
