On December 6, 2024, at approximately 4:13 p.m., Frisco Police responded to a welfare check at a residence on the 10200 block of Bancroft Lane in Frisco, Texas. The request was initiated by a concerned co-worker who had been unable to reach 54-year-old Ronald Morris, leading to fears for his well-being. Upon arrival, officers discovered two deceased individuals in the entryway and a third in the garage.
The victims were identified as Ronald Morris, 53-year-old Stacy White, and 15-year-old Gavin Morris.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the incident may be a double murder-suicide. However, authorities have not publicly confirmed which individual is believed to have died by suicide. The Frisco Police Department continues to investigate all aspects of the case, and a final determination may take additional time.
Gavin Morris was a freshman at Memorial High School in Frisco. The school community was deeply affected by his death, and counselors were made available to support students and staff during this challenging time.
Neighbors described Ronald Morris and Stacy White as a couple who had been in a relationship for approximately two years. They were known for their warm personalities and were cherished by those who knew them.
