Chris Parley McLain, 34, is presumed to be deceased following the sinking of the fishing vessel F/V Western Sea on or around August 15, 1985. The vessel was last seen in Marmot Bay, situated between Kodiak and Afognak Island, Alaska. McLain, a resident of Idaho Falls, Idaho, was one of six individuals who perished in the incident. The crew was engaged in salmon fishing at the time of the vessel's disappearance.
