In the early hours of a Monday morning in Baltimore, Maryland, the life of a 19-year-old Black male, Deric Garrison, was tragically cut short. On September 17, 2018, at approximately 12:15 a.m., police were called to the 3000 block of Rosedale Court for reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Garrison suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his head and upper body. Despite the immediate response from medics, his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
