In the summer of 2016, the Baltimore music scene was struck by a second tragedy in less than two weeks with the death of Trayvon Herbert Lee. A 24-year-old male, Lee was fatally shot on the evening of July 6, 2016. The incident occurred in Northwest Baltimore, outside of his family's home on Anoka Avenue, near Druid Hill Park. He was discovered with gunshot wounds to his upper body and was transported to a nearby hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
