Carlos Javier Francisco Senuis, a 25-year-old resident of Deerfield Beach, Florida, tragically lost his life on August 5, 2016, in a road rage incident. According to reports, Senuis was driving his 2010 red Nissan on Southwest 14th Street, near his home, when he flashed his headlights at another driver, 28-year-old Clarck Paul. This seemingly minor action led to a fatal confrontation. Paul, angered by the gesture, followed Senuis to his home and confronted him.
Despite Senuis's attempts to de-escalate the situation, Paul shot into Senuis's car, fatally wounding him. Senuis was rushed to Broward Health North, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

After killing Senuis, Paul drove to North Lauderdale and murdered 22-year-old Lamont Smalls, whom he believed was a witness in a separate attempted murder case in Pompano Beach.
