In the spring of 2014, a tragic event unfolded in Baltimore that cut short the life of Gregory Price, a Black man. On the evening of May 23, 2014, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Price was discovered at 2800 Baker Street, having been fatally shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Another report of the incident stated that police were called around 9:40 p.m. to the 1600-block of Gertrude Street where a man, identified as Gregory Price, had been shot in the head.
