Hamid Lakhani

Hamid Lakhani, a 63-year-old store clerk from Sugar Land, Texas, was tragically shot and killed during a robbery at the WB Food Mart on August 31, 2019. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. when police were called to the scene in response to a robbery. Upon arrival, they found Lakhani with a gunshot wound. He was immediately taken to the hospital by EMS, where he was pronounced dead. Lakhani, who was of South Asian descent, was well-known and beloved in his community.
