In the early morning hours of January 30, 2022, the life of 36-year-old Asia Rashay Heard, a Black female from Birmingham, Alabama, was tragically cut short. She was driving her Kia Optima northbound along the 200 block of Killough Drive when another vehicle suddenly veered into her path. The ensuing head-on collision was violent and devastating, and Heard was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
