On the evening of October 1, 2023, a report of gunfire drew officers to the 500 block of East Patapsco Avenue in the Brooklyn neighborhood of South Baltimore. There, they discovered Travon Bradford, a 25-year-old Black male, suffering from a gunshot wound to his head.
