On May 20, 2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m., 22-year-old Miguel Casillas was fatally shot in the 2300 block of Firestone Boulevard in South Gate, California. Upon arrival, deputies found Casillas with gunshot wounds to his torso; he was pronounced dead at the scene.
