On April 26, 2023, 11-year-old Natalie Guilianna Romero Puente tragically lost her life due to an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound in her Salinas, California, home. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of Georgetown Way. Emergency responders from the Salinas Police Department and Salinas Fire Department arrived promptly, but despite their efforts, Natalie was pronounced dead at the scene.
